Heathen women why do you scream?
Your lullabies aren’t sweet in a child’s dream
The blood stained hands you use to caress
Brings old-age fear into a mother’s breast

The cackles of your laughter is poison to mortal ears
Your masking it with beauty can’t end the fear
It is too late to fool a mortal’s eyes
Such a shame it won’t be easy for you this time

Tearing of flesh the breaking of a heart
You cradle the life of innocence at its start
The broken womb of the mother left
You allow the child to sleep at your chest

You are never sad as the beauty fades
The cries of new life signaling the child’s awake
A need inside you begins to rise
You must consume this small flicker of new life

Everything comes to be silent at the occurrences here
The two lives gone won’t cause your tears
As your years are lengthened and your morality fades
You now wish to be a real mother one day
This is not my greatest piece of work, but it ain't too bad neither I believe. About the demon Lamia, I pictured a scenario in my head then simply wrote it out. If you don't know what a Lamia is I shall give you a brief explanation. It's a spirit figure who seduced sleeping men and killed infants. You wanna find out more go to this link:

err... not quite.
Lamia's are described in different religeons as different things. Ex:
In greek mythology, they appear to be half gargoile and snake and feast on the blood of infants.
>_> i really hate that description.
However, in other religeons, they are just common humanoids (half human half snake) looking for a mate. So yeah, that might help broaden your view if you snoop around a bit...
